Privacy Policy
Last updated August 17, 2026
This policy explains what personal information TJS Corporation (“TJS”, “we”, “us”) collects through thetjscorporation.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. It covers this website only. Our operating companies may hold information about you under their own client engagement terms.
Who is responsible
TJS Corporation is the controller of the personal information described here. For any question about this policy, or to exercise any of the rights set out below, contact us at ts@thetjscorporation.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you use the contact form, we collect the details you enter:
- Name
- So we know who we are replying to. Required.
- Email address
- So we can reply. Required.
- Company
- Optional context about your enquiry.
- Subject
- Which team should handle the enquiry.
- Message
- Whatever you choose to tell us. Required.
Please do not send confidential, sensitive or privileged material through the contact form. It is a general enquiry channel, not a secure one.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server data — IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the referring page. This is generated for every website and is used for security and troubleshooting.
- Hosting provider analytics. Our host, GoDaddy, places its own scripts on the site (
tccl.min.jsandscc-c2.min.js, loaded fromimg1.wsimg.com) which report traffic data tocsp.secureserver.net. These set the cookies listed below.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or marketing cookies, and TJS does not run its own analytics. The following cookies are placed by our hosting provider as part of the hosting platform:
- _tccl_visitor
- Distinguishes visitors for the host’s traffic reporting.
- _tccl_visit
- Identifies a single browsing session for the same purpose.
- _scc_session
- Session identifier used by the host’s site-services script.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to read this site or use the contact form. If you are in a jurisdiction that requires prior consent for non-essential cookies, note that these are set by the hosting platform rather than by us; we are reviewing this with our provider.
Why we use your information, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry. Because you asked us to — and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to people who contact our business.
- To keep the site secure and working. Our legitimate interest in protecting our systems and diagnosing faults.
- To meet legal obligations. Where we are required to retain or disclose information by law.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not use contact-form details for marketing unless you separately ask us to.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only where it is necessary:
- Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its data on our behalf.
- The relevant company within the TJS group, where your enquiry concerns one of our operating businesses and is better answered by them.
- Professional advisers, or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.
Our website is hosted in the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and stored there.
How long we keep it
Contact-form submissions are emailed to us and a copy is retained on the website so that an enquiry is never lost if email delivery fails. That stored copy is capped and older entries are removed as newer ones arrive. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and then delete it. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider under their own retention schedule.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy;
- have inaccurate information corrected;
- have information deleted;
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where our use relies on consent;
- complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email ts@thetjscorporation.com. We will respond within the period required by the law that applies to you. We may need to verify your identity first. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Children
This website is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to submitted enquiries is restricted to authorised personnel. No website can be guaranteed completely secure, which is why we ask you not to send sensitive material through the form.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
